Zon Capital Partners is a private equity fund headquartered in Princeton, New Jersey. Zon focuses on direct investments of $1 to $2 million in expansion stage information and communication companies, primarily located in the Mid-Atlantic region of the US, Connecticut through Northern Virginia. In specific circumstances the fund will make investments outside this region.
The fund was founded to leverage the extensive experience of its managing partners by investing and working collaboratively with seasoned entrepreneurs to help build and grow their businesses. Zon Capital has a tightly defined investment strategy. The fund’s investments will build upon software, systems and communications networks that business customers have already installed. Target portfolio companies are generating revenues in excess of $1 million from their core offering and are typically seeking their first institutional round, Series A, of expansion funding. Zon Capital looks to lead the funding round and, typically, will join the company’s board and serve on key committees. We will join deal syndications where we have a relationship with lead investors who have a similar investment and a shared hands-on philosophy.
